I RECEIVED A LETTER IN THE MAIL IN 2015 REGARDING THE ADJUSTABLE SEAT FOR THE PASSENGER AND DRIVER SEATS. THE RECALL INVOLVED A PROBLEM IN WHICH THE SEAT WAS FALLEN TO THE LOWEST POSITION. WHEN I RECEIVED THE LETTER, I DID NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS, BUT IN MY ATTEMPT TO BE RESPONSIBLE I TOOK MY CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP. RECENTLY I FACED THE PROBLEM, THE LEVER TO ADJUST THE INCLINE OF THE SEAT IS STUCK, AND MY SEAT IS IN ITS LOWEST POSITION. IT'S INCLINED ALL THE WAY TO THE BACK. I CONTACTED GM AND THEY SAID THE REPAIR WAS GOING TO BE COVERED THROUGH THE RECALL, SO I MADE AN APPOINTMENT AND TOOK MY CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP. MY CAR WAS IN THE DEALER FOR 1 1/2 WEEKS, AND IT WAS NOT REPAIRED. I RECEIVED A TEXT AND THEY SAID IT WAS GOING TO COST ME $381 TO REPAIR. THEN I CONTACT THE HEADQUARTERS OF GM AND THEY EXPLAINED MY CAR WAS NOT GOING TO BE FIXED BECAUSE IT WAS CHECKED BACK IN 2015 (WHEN IT WORKED FINE). THEN THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO CONTACT ME IN 3 BUSINESS DAYS TO PROVIDE ME WITH A COUPON TO LOWER THE PRICE OF THE REPAIR. TODAY I RECEIVED A CALL FROM ANOTHER REPRESENTATIVE AND SHE MENTIONED THEY DO NOT OFFER COUPONS. I ASKED EVERYONE FOR A WRITTEN STATEMENT EXPLAINING WHY MY CAR WAS NOT REPAIR AND THEY DID NOT PROVIDE IT; THEREFORE, I PLEASE ASK FOR YOUR HELP TO WORK THROUGH THIS RECALL AND GET MY CAR REPAIRED.
