When entering the drivers side of my car I went to close the door and the door was not latching. This is the second time that this has happened and when I called Ford Chino Hills. They proceeded to tell me they were not fixing any recalls for at least 3 weeks and that was just to get looked at, and then they said that it could take another 2 weeks to get the part. They did not offer a rental or anything and it put me out of a car because how am I supposed to drive a car when the door doesn’t close. Like I said the first time this happened I had to leave my car with them over night and once again was left with no car.

IT DOES NOT LEAK ENOUGH TO LEAVE NOTICEABLE MARKS ON DRIVEWAY BUT IS LEAKING. WHEN I CALLED, I WAS TOLD THAT MY VEHICLE WAS NO LONGER COVERED AS I AM JUST OUTSIDE OF THIS WARRANTY SINCE I HAVE SLIGHTLY OVER 127797 MILES AND THIS ENDED AT 100,000 OR 10 YEARS. MY CAR IS A 2011. IF I HAD BEEN AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN FIXED DURING THAT TIME. SINCE THERE WAS NO CODE OR WARNING AND NO VISIBLE EVIDENCE OF THE LEAKAGE, I WAS UNAWARE. THE DEALER WHO REPROGRAMMED THE TCM WAS UNAWARE, THERE ARE NO CODES RELATING TO THIS ISSUE ON THE CAR. THEY ONLY CODE I NOW HAVE IS AN OXYGEN SENSOR OR SOMETHING CODE THAT SHOWED UP AFTER THEY REPROGRAMMED THE TCM. I BELIEVE FORD SHOULD EXTEND THIS WARRANTY FOR THESE EFFECTED CARS, THERE ARE MANY WITH THIS PROBLEM, WE HAVE RESEARCHED THROUGH THE COMPLAINTS. I PICKED UP MY CAR AND 3 DAYS LATER 04/14/14, MY CAR EXPERIENCED THE SAME SYMPTOMS ON ON 04/08/14. MY CAR COULD NOT ACCELERATE AND STALLED IN TRAFFIC ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY. I TOWED IT BACK TO CAL WORTHINGTON AND THEY HAD MY CAR UNTIL 05/21/14. SELF TEST=P06B8, TESTED CHARGING SYSTEM AND BATT= BATT PASS END CHARGES AT 14.3V CONSTANT, NO UPDATES AVAIL. CLEARED CODE AND RETEST =P06B8 COMES BACK. REPLACE PCM, PROGRAMMED PCM, KEYS AND PREFORMED TRANS CLUTCH ADAPTIVE STRATEGY. CLEAR CODE AND RETEST=PASS. TERT DRIVE = RUN AND DRIVES FINE, NO LIGHT. NEXT DAY, MY ENGINE STOPPED ON MY STREET, GEAR DISPLAY FLASHING D,P,R,L OVER AND OVER. TOWED BACK TO CAL WORTHINGTON AND THEY HAD MY CAR UNTIL 06/05/14. I DO NOT HAVE THE PAPERWORK FOR THAT REPAIR.

RECENTLY MY DASH LIGHTS WENT OUT AS WELL AS MY TAIL LIGHTS. UPON CHECKING THE FUSE BOX LOCATED UNDER THE HOOD, I FOUND IT FILLED WITH SAND AND OTHER FOREIGN MATERIALS. FURTHERMORE, ALL OF THE FUSES WERE CORRODED AND WHEN I TRIED TO REMOVE THEM, THEY BROKE, THUS I WAS UNABLE TO REPLACE THEM. IT IS APPARENT THAT THIS IS A DESIGN FLAW WITH THIS EQUIPMENT AS THE BOX DOES NOT PROPERLY SEAL EVEN THOUGH IT IS EXPOSED TO THE ELEMENTS UNDERNEATH THE HOOD. AFTER RESEARCHING FURTHER, I DISCOVERED THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM AMONG 2011 FORD FIESTA OWNERS AND THAT THE REPAIR FOR THIS IS VERY COSTLY. BECAUSE THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM, IT WOULD SEEM THAT FORD SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CORRECTING THIS DESIGN FLAW AS THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT MAKES THE VEHICLE UNUSABLE AFTER DARK. FURTHERMORE, I AM CONVINCED THAT OTHER FUSES WILL SOON FAIL AND THEN THE VEHICLE MAY NOT BE USEFUL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. IN ADDITION, I HAD BEEN EXPERIENCING INTERMITTENT ENGINE STOPPAGES WHILE AT A STOP LIGHT OR WHEN IDLING IN TRAFFIC.
