HYDRAULIC CONTROL MY ABS SYSTEM HAS NOT BEEN WORKING CORRECTLY SINCE PURCHASE OF MY FORD FUSION BACK IN NOVEMBER 2015. I HAVE TAKEN IT BACK TO THE HALDEMAN FORD DEALERSHIP IN TRENTON NJ ON ROUTE 33 MULTIPLE TIMES WHERE THEY EITHER DID NOT LOOK AT HE PROBLEM, DOCUMENT IT OR REPLACED THE SAME PART(S) OVER AND OVER AGAIN. UNTIL THE WARRANTY RAN OUT 96000 MILES. THEN THEY WERE ABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM ACCURATELY AT 97798 MILES AND REQUEST $1500 FOR REPAIRS. SINCE THE CAR WAS DERIVABLE AT THE TIME AND THEIR SERVICE WAS NOT TO BE TRUSTED ANY MORE I DECLINED SERVICE AND DROVE IT UNTIL THE BREAKS HIT THE FLOOR, LITERALLY. AROUND 120000 MILES I WAS TAKING MY KIDS TO AN AMUSEMENT PARK AND THE BREAKS STOPPED WORKING ALL TOGETHER LANDING MYSELF, AND MY TWO CHILDREN AGES SIX (6) AND TWO (2) IN THE MIDDLE OF A BUSY INTERSECTION. LUCKILY NOBODY WAS HURT, BUT NOW THE HALDEMAN FORD DEALERSHIP IN TRENTON NJ ON ROUTE 33 HAS MY CAR UNTIL IT IS FIXED. THEY REFUSE TO FIX IT BECAUSE IT IS NOT UNDER WARRANTY BUT CONTINUE TO TELL ME TO CALL FORD CORPORATE. FORD CORPORATE TELLS ME TO CALL THE DEALERSHIP AS THEY ARE ALL INDEPENDENTLY OWNED AND THEY CANNOT ASSIST. Summary of Complaint

ON OR ABOUT WEDNESDAY, MAY 30, 2018 ON THE COMMUTE HOME FROM WORK I PUSHED ON THE BRAKES AS I CAME TO A STOP LIGHT. THE BRAKES WEREN'T THERE AND THE BRAKE PEDAL CONTINUED TO THE FLOOR BOARD, I BEGAN PUMPING THE BRAKES TO STOP AND WAS ABLE TO STOP. I TOOK BACK ROADS TO GET OFF THE MAIN HIGHWAY AND EXPERIENCED THE SAME PROBLEM AT EACH STOP SIGN. AT A 4 WAY STOP SIGN I COASTED FROM ABOUT TWO BLOCKS TO A BARE CRAWL ANTICIPATING THAT WOULD HELP ME ACTUALLY STOP - IT DIDN'T - MY VEHICLE CONTINUED SLOWLY PAST THE 4 WAY INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE INTERSECTION AND A VEHICLE THAT HAD THE RIGHT OF WAY ON THE RIGHT STOPPED TO LET ME CONTINUE AS I WAVED AND EXPRESSED I WAS SORRY THE BEST WAY I COULD. I MADE IT HOME AND CALLED THE TIRE/BRAKE SHOP AND TOLD THEM WHAT HAPPENED. I THEN DROVE THE SAME ROUTE TO THE TIRE/BRAKE SHOP AND THE BRAKE LINES WERE BLED, NEW CALIPERS, ETC. THE AUTO REPAIRMEN STATED THE MASTER CYLINDER VALVE WAS COMPROMISED AND TO WATCH FOR THE SAME PROBLEM BECAUSE SOMETHING WAS WRONG AND THE NEXT TIME WOULD REQUIRE EXTENSIVE AND COSTLY REPLACEMENT. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING THE VEHICLE, AND WILL NEED TO HAVE IT TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP.THIS RECALL HAS BEEN UN EFFECT SINCE 2019, YET THEY HAVE NO REMEDY AS OF NOW. THERE IS ALSO A SECOND RECALL FOR AIRBAGS. (I ALREADY HAD THE FIRST AIRBAG RECALL FIXED.) THEY WANT ME TO DRIVE A VEHICKE WITH FAULTY BREAKS AND AN AIRBAG THAT MAY EXPLODE, AND KILL ME UPON IMPACT. JANUARY 2020 AND AGAIN OCTOBER 2020 I RECEIVED A SAFETY RECALL NOTICE FROM THE FORD MOTOR COMPANY STATING A SAFETY RECALL NOTICE 19S54/NHTSA RECALL 19V-904 THAT A VALVE IN THE HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT OF THE ANIT-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM MAY BE STUCK OPEN. MY 2008 FORD FUSION INDEED HAS THIS PROBLEM. EVERY TIME MY ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM IS ACTIVATED, MY BRAKE PEDAL SINKS TO THE GROUND AND IT TAKES CONTROL AND TIME FOR THE CAR TO COME TO A STOP. AFTER, THE BRAKE PEDAL REMAINS SOFT AND I HAVE TO PUMP THE BRAKE PEDDLE TO GET PRESSURE BACK UP. THIS HAS BEEN A PROBLEM SINCE APPROXIMATELY 2018 FOR THIS VEHICLE. IT HAS NOW BEEN OVER A YEAR AND THE MANUFACTURER HAS YET TO NOTIFY ME OF A FIX FOR THIS RECALL PROBLEM. THIS TIME FRAME IS UNACCEPTABLE.
