I ATTEMPTED TO AVOID A DIRECT REAR END COLLISION AND MANAGED TO VEER OFF TO THE RIGHT AND ONLY HIT THE OTHER CAR ON THE RIGHT REAR SIDE BUMPER. FURTHER, THIS FORD REPLACED THE PASSENGER AIRBAG, AND PULLED ON THE BOTTOM EDGE OF THE AIRBAG COMPARTMENT, CAUSING A BADLY TENTED EDGE, THAT COULD OBSTRUCT THE PASSENGER AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT OR TEAR THE BAG IF IT IS DEPLOYED, AND AFFECT THE ANGLE AND TRAJECTORY OF THE DEPLOYMENT. THIS FORD DENIED ANY RESPONSIBILITY. WHEN WE HAD IT TOWED FOR OTHER REPAIRS INCLUDING THE DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG, THEY NOT ONLY DID NOT PERFORM THE NECESSARY REPAIRS, BUT THEY CAUSED HARM TO OUR CAR: DAMAGE TO THE FRONT BUMPER, FAILED TO REFILL FLUIDS CORRECTLY, INCLUDING TRANSMISSION FLUID AND POWER STEERING FLUID AND DID NOT REPLACE THE FRONT BRAKE CALIPERS. THE NEW SERPENTINE BELT IS LOOSE AND MAKES A NOISE. THEY ALSO DROVE OUR CAR OVER 30 MILES, WITHOUT OUR AUTHORIZATION AND THEN LIED ON THE INVOICE CLAIMING THAT OUR CAR CAME IN AND LEFT AT THE SAME MILEAGE. I RECEIVED SAFETY RECALL NOTICE 19S54 / NHTSA RECALL 10V-904 IN JANUARY 2020 TELLING ME THERE IS A SAFETY ISSUE WITH THE BRAKING SYSTEM ON MY CAR. IT SAID I WOULD BE NOTIFIED WHEN PARTS WOULD BE AVAILABLE. I GOT ANOTHER NOTICE IN OCTOBER OF 2020 TELLING ME THE SAME THING, BUT HAVE STILL NOT HEARD BACK. IT HAS BEEN OVER A YEAR AND NO WORD FROM FORD. IF THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE THEY ARE NOT TAKING IT VERY SERIOUSLY. IT CANNOT TAKE OVER A YEAR TO GET PARTS. I AM GIVING THIS CAR TO MY GRAND DAUGHTER BUT DO NOT WANT TO DO SO IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE BRAKES.
