THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THE ABS HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNITS WERE FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE PART NEEDED TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE WAS NOT YET AVAILALBE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 145,000.

I WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT ON 11-30-19 DUE TO MY BRAKES NOT ALLOWING ME TO STOP IN TIME AND HITTING A CAR IN FRONT OF ME. IT CAUSED ENOUGH COSMETIC (ONLY) DAMAGE TO MY CAR THAT MY INSURANCE COMPANY IS FILING IT AS A TOTAL LOSS DUE TO THE COST OF REPAIRS COMPARED TO THE VALUE OF MY CAR. I WILL PROBABLY BE FORCED TO KEEP IT THOUGH SINCE I CAN'T AFFORD A NEW CAR, SINCE I'M ON A FIXED INCOME. I WANTED TO FILE MY COMPLAINT ON THE BRAKES. I HAVE HAD THIS VEHICLE SINCE 8/07 AND HAVE HAD A FEW MECHANICS CHECK THE BRAKES. IF I HIT MY BRAKES GOING OVER A BUMP THEY WILL GO STRAIGHT TO THE FLOOR. MOST TIMES IT TAKES A COUPLE HOURS FOR THE BRAKES TO RETURN TO NORMAL.
