THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT AFTER THE FAILURE THE VEHICLE WOULD ONLY OPERATE IN THE NEUTRAL AND DRIVE POSITIONS, AND THE KEY COULD NOT BE REMOVED FROM THE IGNITION SWITCH. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S HOME. THE DEALER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 09857723. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000.

I DROVE MY CAR ABOUT 104 MILES ON THE NEW TIRES, AND ON AUGUST 15, 2019, WHILE DRIVING ON THE NYS THRUWAY, 3 OF THE TIRES WENT FLAT. AS PER INSTRUCTIONS FROM EASTERN STATE TIRE, I HAD MY CAR TOWED TO PRESTIGE TIRE & AUTO SERVICE CENTER IN KINGSTON NY 12401. AND THERE, PRESTIGE ADVISED ME THAT ON ALL 4 TIRES THE VALVE STEMS WERE LEAKING. THUS, AS 2 OF THE TIRES WERE DAMAGED BEYOND REPAIR, THEY REPLACED THEM, AND REPLACED THE VALVE STEMS ON THE 2 REMAINING TIRES THAT THEY SALVAGED. I DO NOT KNOW IF THE FAULT OF THESE TIRE FAILURES IS IN THE MANUFACTURERS DESIGN/PRODUCTION OR THAT OF EASTERN TIRE OF WEST NYACK. I LEAVE THAT DETERMINATION UP TO YOU. NO LETTER WAS RECEIVED FROM HONDA YET BUT I HATE TO WAIT FOR A LETTER TO ARRIVE AS THAT COULD TAKE 60 DAYS, THEN WOULD HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE DEALER TO GET THE PARTS AND THEN GET AN APPOINTMENT. THIS SITUATION IS LIFE-THREATENING. IS THERE ANY WAY TO SPEED THIS PROCESS UP? ALSO THE REPAIR SHOP STATED THAT A LOT OF THE AIR BAGS THAT HAVE BEEN REPLACED, ARE NOW BEING RECALLED.

ONCE AGAIN, I CALLED AAA AND THEY JUMPED THE BATTERY. I AM REQUESTING AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE CONSTANT ELECTRICAL FREEZE. I WOULD LIKE A REFUND OF THE DIAGNOSTIC. CHARGES AND REPAIRS.
