WHILE DRIVING ON I-75 AT 65 MPH THE CAR SUDDENLY MOVED LEFT AND THE STEERING BECAME VERY HARD TO TURN. THEN THE CAR MOVED SHARPLY RIGHT AND LEFT THE ROADWAY AND STRUCK THE GUARDRAIL DAMASGING THE RIGHT FRONT. THE DEALER, SHOTTENKIRK HONDA IN CARTERSVILLE,GA SAID THEY COULD DO NOTHING AS THE CAR WAS DAMAGED. THE CAR WAS REPAIRED BY A BODY SHOP. THEY SENT IT OUT TO HAVE THE ALIGNMENT DONE. WHEN THE CAR WAS RETURNED TO THE DEALER TO HAVE THE STEERING CHECKED THEY SAID THE ALIGNMENT WAS OFF AND THE RIGHT FRONT STRUT WAS BENT. THEY REPAIRED IT AND DID THE ALIGNMENT. THE DEALER SAYS THAT THE DIAGNOSTIC CHECK DOES NOT SHOW ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE STEERING. THE REASON IS THAT IT IS TO LONG A TIME SINCE THE INCIDENT. I BELIEVE THAT THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND THE CAR MAY NOT BE SAFE TO DRIVE.

The first two batteries were replaced by independent mechanics; however, on the latest failure, the contact had the vehicle towed to a dealer. Despite another battery replacement, the failure occurred again five month later. The contact sent an email to the manufacturer and received a case number. The vehicle had yet to be repaired and remained in the possession of the dealer. The failure mileage was unknown.

Honda Accord LX 2015 engine sputtered and failed 3 times while in idle with A/C on then won’t start after that. Battery, alternator confirmed good. Use medium grade gas BP, lights on, drives well after it starts. Changed battery-mechanic says good. So why does this keep happening? Am frustrated as it is expensive to change out the parts. Honda has lost its good reputation. Taking back to Honda dealer in Miami to fix again.

With no warning, the battery failed. The car started up again with a jump from AAA. I drove it for 45 minutes. Turned off the car and it would not start again. Had to spend almost $200 to get a new battery on the spot. I have not been to a dealer or service center. I was lucky to be in a position to get a new battery quickly. It may have affected my safety if I'd been out of the city and unable to get help.

Car worked fine last night. Cannot get car to do anything. Dangerous and frustrating--what if it happened while traveling? It only makes this noise when starting the car for the first time that day, unless it has been sitting for 5+ hours, then will rattle again at cold startup. While driving with no warning the power steering fails. The warning light then came on stating power system failure. Then just as quickly it began to work again before I was able to pull safely to the side. After checking the manual I set an appointment with honda of Huntington. They stated there was no error code for the steering and that I should drive the car till the light stays on. After that I took the car to my independent mechanic who also couldn't reproduce the problem. Two days later we drove the car for 1 hour and it happened again. Each time it was failing it returned to normal. This is an accident waiting to happen.

Honda currently has a recall for Honda Accords 2013-2015, #20V769. I happen to have a 2015 Honda Accord Hybrid, but because my particular VIN is not currently shown as affected, they refuse to reimburse me and fix the other side. This issue is related to drive shafts that will break due to corrosion. I was able to fix the broken driver side left axle, but this is clearly a sign that my vehicle was also affected by this manufacture error as it happened the same exact way they described it on the recall. This could have been a much worse accident, luckily I was at a stop sign when it snapped. It simply snapped, no warnings, no lights, nothing.

Driving at Interstate speeds, I had the engine suddenly **THUNK** and lose power. I limped it to the side of the road to get out of traffic. I went to investigate and the vehicle would not even idle. It just shut off After having it towed back to local service company, looked at, and the dealership I bought it at to look at, I am told the main bearing failed on the connecting rod. The thunks I hear is the rod spinning in there, shearing off metal shavings that are now all over inside the engine bay. Honda has a TSB out for the car, for this exact issue, but my VIN number somehow doesn't fit in their window. Component that failed - Main bearing on the Connecting Rod Safety of myself and others - Gave out while driving highway speeds, which caused the car to lose power to keep it at highway speeds. Had to limp it to the shoulder Reproduction of problem - Yes, at an independent service center and a dealership service center Component inspected - not by any of the listed people, just the service centers Warning lamps, messages, symptoms - None whatsoever I have amazon receipts of items purchased for all at home maintenance done on the vehicle since it was bought new. I do not have a scanner handy for the service center documentation and receipts

Purchased Used 2015 Honda Accord Hybrid from Dealer March 25, 2021. Vehicle ran clean for two months, but now in the last month and a half, vehicle randomly will not start on 3 separate occasions. During these incidences vehicle will also not give power to door locks, etc, leaving driver stranded with no way to lock themselves in the vehicle for safety if necessary. Vehicle is keyless/push-button start. Battery tests good. ***Incident 1: Vehicle did not start on 88 degree day. No accessory power either. Would not power door locks. Left my 17 year old daughter stranded in excessive heat, in a Metro area parking lot until I could get to her two hours later. Multiple attempts to start the vehicle/pressing brake/start button with key fob next to start button. Replaced batteries in Key fobs with no change. Vehicle started with a jump. ***Incident 2: Similar to 1st incident, vehicle randomly would not start, no accessory power or power to door locks. Again, very hot and humid evening. Multiple attempts were made to push-button-start the vehicle with key fob well within area to start it. Called someone to come get us but continued attempts to start the car. It randomly started after about 45 minutes. Battery indicator on dashboard indicates good charge on battery. Left our family stranded in a rural area in the dark with excessive heat during this time. ***Incident 3: Vehicle will not start when pressing brake, start button, and key fob close by. My daughter was stranded again in 89 degrees outside. I picked her up with no success in starting the vehicle. Car's still sitting. ** There is no 'suspicious' activity of the vehicle before this happens. Completely random. New batteries in fobs. Concerned this could develop into a bigger problem of these models I've discovered; stalling while driving. (??) It appears our problem is large enough that there are public videos online about this. Hopefully we can rectify this as it poses a risk to stranded motorists left alone.

On May, 25, 2021 my family were on the highway and all of a sudden the car started stalling. In which the accelerater started braking instead of moving, the car was slowing with all the lights turning on on the dashboard. FCU failure message flashing with engine sign, Ldw, Fcw, tire pressure, stability sign, steering sign all came on. It almost caused us to have an accident. My kids my wife everyones were screaming because other cars and trucks around us, and we didn't know what's going on with out car and other cars were honking at us. We were all so scared and my wife was crying, my kids were crying. We signal with our hands out of the car to get to the shoulder and stopped the car. We thought we are going to die if any of the trucks or cars hit us. Never scared in our life like that day. So still my car is on my driveway parked. There is a recall of the 6 cylinder of 2015 manufactured. But not for the 4 cylinder same safety issues other people have. I contacted the American Honda but they are denying any safety issues 2015 Honda accord 4 cylinder have engin failure. Please issue a safety recall so it will be safer before someone's family is put in danger instead of not knowing when their cars engin fails.

Took my sister to a car dealership to look at a car and had my car running for a couple of hours due to me having kids and it was hot out. And I accidentally turned my car off and car wouldn’t start back up it kept saying key fob was missing and the key was hanging up on my rear view mirror. Vehicle does not start 100% of the time. The safety issue is that being stranded, when it doesn't start , with small children in a rural area is dangerous. The dealer as well as Honda has no solution for the problem. Repairs suggested have all been made and the problem still exists. I know nothing will be done because of this letter, but whomever is reading this I would suggest that you not purchase a Honda product if you care for your family. My 2015 Honda accord has been giving me problems For more than three years already so every time I turn it on there is a beep three times as soon as I turn on the ignition key then now in Often the car does not turn on, so I have to wait like 30 minutes so the car will start again, also about three times all the lights on the windchill had turn off including the radio in the phone chargers everything was pure black and it was in the middle of the night so I couldn’t see nothing on my way home That’s when I had to stop on the right shoulder on the freeway 14 because I couldn’t see to drive with no lights so I turn off the car and wait for a couple of minutes then the car turn on and the lights went back on and actually today I had to call the towing truck to pick me up to take it to the mechanic because it was not turning on not even after 30 minutes but after two hours the car turn on this happened when I was on the gas station putting gasAnd when I try to turn it on after putting gas that’s when the car didn’t wanna start I was in Arcadia city California and we were almost 90° and it was really hot with no shade and I was all by myself no where to go I am very tired of this and I am scared if this happened when I am in the intersection when there’s a lot of traffic, it seems that this problem is been happening very often now it’s been getting worse and worse,

I was driving in the outer lane on a city street when my car suddenly turned and hit the curb, sending the car down a hill. The brakes didn’t work either and I hit two trees headon. All airbags deployed. An electrical fire started under the hood. Two men came and shut off the power. The car was towed and declared a total loss. I was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The only person that I know of that inspected the car was the claims adjuster. There was no warning that anything was wrong. If anyone had been in the path of the car, I would have been unable to stop or turn.
