Summary of Complaint

I accelerated into a driveway of a convenience store and as I was halfway through the driveway my gas pedal became unresponsive and would not accelerate. Car started rolling back into traffic. 2 weeks later my pedal became unresponsive on the freeway. I exited and immediately called thd dealer because i had already taken it to get checked out after the first incident and they basically said nothing can be done but to trade it in since the mechanic had already said there was nothing wrong.

The engine heat plate has fallen off twice during normal highway travel and dragging on the road causing sparks making my vehicle unsafe and unable to drive. The first time I paid to have it repaired. Now that this has happened for the 2nd time, I feel this is going to be an ongoing issue. The first incident happened in April of last year.

Summary of Complaint

I bought the car 4/1/2021, with 15,000 miles on it. In just 2 months, I have had two incidents of the car decelerating. When I was at a traffic light and from a complete stop, I accelerated and the car decelerated and almost stalled in the intersection. I was making a left-hand turn both times and if the car had stalled, an oncoming car could have hit me. This could have caused a serious accident. I notice there is a recall for this problem on other Honda models, but not my car. I am afraid to drive it now because i live in a major city and there is a lot of traffic.

ON FRIDAY, APRIL 2ND, I WAS DRIVING HOME ON THE 710 FWY ON THE FAR LEFT LANE. I WAS DRIVING AROUND 75MPH AND THERE WAS AN OBJECT ON THE GROUND WHICH LOOKED LIKE AN EMPTY POTATO CHIP BAG, IT WASN'T ANYTHING THAT WOULD HAVE DONE ANY DAMAGE TO MY CAR BUT MY HONDA SENSE'S COLLISION MITIGATION BRAKING SYSTEM ACTIVATED FOR NO REASON AND ALERTED ME TO BRAKE AND STARTED APPLYING PRESSURE. I HAD NO REASON TO STOP SO I HAD TO SWERVE INTO THE SHOULDER LANE TO PREVENT MY CAR FROM BRAKING UNEXPECTEDLY WHICH COULD HAVE RESULTED INTO A DEADLY COLLISION IF THERE WAS A CAR CLOSE BEHIND ME. I HAVE FOOTAGE OF THE VIDEO AND REQUESTED THIS TO BE LOOKED INTO BECAUSE IF THIS IS A FAULTY SENSORY ISSUE, I WOULD LIKE IT CORRECTED IMMEDIATELY TO PREVENT FURTHER ISSUES.
