AFTER DOING RESEARCH ONLINE, I NOTED THAT HONDA HAS AN ACTIVE RECALL IN CANADA FOR A SIMILAR DEFECT, BUT NOT IN THE US. I CONTACTED HONDA OF NORTH AMERICA AND ASKED IF THEY COULD PROVIDE ANY ASSISTANCE OR COMPENSATION FOR THIS ISSUE, WHICH ESSENTIALLY RENDERS THE CAR UNUSABLE, AND THEY TOLD ME THEY COULD NOT.
