Summary of Complaint

VEHICLE IS LOOSING POWER, PARK ASSIST LIGHT COMES ON DASH ALONG WITH EVERY OTHER LIGHT!! ALONG DASH IT SAYS SOMETHING ABOUT PARK ASSIST SERVICE?? NOT SURE EXACT WORDS BECAUSE IT POPS ACROSS AND POPS OFF JUST AS QUICKLY.CAR WON'T START RIGHT UP TAKES 1-2 HOURS BEFORE ANYTHING WILL HAPPEN. YESTERDAY WAS THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPEN. I HAD MY TWO YEAR OLD SON WITH ME.. HAD TO SIT IN 90 DEGREE WEATHER FOR OVER AN HOUR WAITING FOR HELP. I JUST BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE THREE MONTHS AGO BECAUSE EVERYONE RAVED ABOUT HOW GREAT/DEPENDABLE JEEPS ARE.. BUILT TO LAST?!? MAYBE I SHOULD HAVE JUST STUCK WITH FORD... I PHYSICALLY FEEL SICK TO MY STOMACH, HAD I SEEN THAT THIS IS AN ONGOING PROBLEM I WOULD HAVE STAYED AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS TYPE OF VEHICLE AS POSSIBLE!! I WOULD HOPE THAT CHRYSLER WOULD STEP UP AND ADDRESS THE PROBLEM, SEEING THAT ALL OF THESE PEOPLE(MYSELF INCLUDED) BOUGHT THERE PRODUCT WITH THE FAITH THAT IT WOULD IF NOT MEET/EXCEED THERE EXPECTATIONS. *TR

Summary of Complaint

VEHICLE STALLS AND DRIVER LOSES COMMAND OF ACCELERATOR, POWER STEERING AND BRAKES. HAPPENS AT VARIOUS SPEEDS BUT OBVIOUSLY MOST DANGEROUS AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. WHEN VEHICLE LOSES POWER, ALL GEAR INDICATORS LIGHT UP ON THE DASHBOARD AND THE VEHICLE INFORMATION SYSTEM DISPLAY READS "SERVICE PARK ASSIST SYSTEM" AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT APPEARS. RECOMMENDED DEALER REPAIR IS THE REPLACEMENT OF THE "ELECTRONIC SHIFT MODULE". THIS TEMPORARILY SOLVES THE PROBLEM BUT RECURS WITHIN A FEW THOUSAND MILES. *TR

Summary of Complaint

THE 2007 JEEP COMMANDER WE HAVE AT TIMES HAS NO ACCELERATION. IT LASTS ABOUT 10 TO 15 SECONDS. IT IS VERY DANGEROUS. IF YOU PULL INTO TRAFFIC YOU NEVER KNOW IF THE JEEP WILL ACCELERATE OR NOT. USUALLY DOES IT WHEN IT HASN'T BEEN RUNNING LONG. I DO KNOW CHRYSLER HAS A CASE NUMBER FOR THIS ISSUE ON THERE DEALER CONNECT NETWORK CASE NUMBER [XXX] IN MY OPINION WITH WHAT THEY SAY IS WRONG ON THAT CASE STUDY THEY SHOULD BE CONTACTING OWNERS TO BRING THEM IN FOR A FLASH OF THE COMPUTER SYSTEM. IT SEEMS LIKE A SIMPLE FIX FOR THEM THAT WILL HELP AVOID ACCIDENTS. IT HAS BEEN DOING IT A FEW WEEKS AND HAPPENS EVERY COUPLE DAYS. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).*TR
