MY ENTIRE DASHBOARD HAS BEEN STICKY / TACKY FOR YEARS. I DO NOT KNOW WHY OR HOW IT GOT THIS WAY. IT ACCUMULATES DUST AND GRIME, AND I HAVE NO WAY TO PROPERLY CLEAN IT SINCE ALL TOWELS AND CLEANING CLOTHS, UNLESS EXTREMELY WET, GET CAUGHT ON IT, AND THEN IT ACCUMULATES FIBERS FROM THE CLEANING CLOTHS. IF I PRESS INTO THE DASHBOARD WITH MY FINGER, IT RETAINS A FINGERPRINT. I CAN EASILY CLEAVE A PIECE OFF WITH MY NAIL. TOYOTA ISSUED A TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN AND SET THE OIL CONSUMPTION LEVELS AT A RIDICULOUS LEVEL (1.2 QUARTS PER 1,200 MILES) AND THEY CONTINUE TO REJECT MY REQUEST TO PAY TO FIX THE PROBLEM. THE OTHER DRIVER IN A FULL SIZE DODGE PICKUP PULLED OUT , WHILE MY HUSBAND WAS IN FULL SPEED OF 40MILES AN HOUR. TO WHICH HE HIT THE TRUCK IN THE GAS TANK THAT CAUSED EXPLOSION AS WELL.
